Jaymi Vilardo is an Artist and Curator, with a heavy interest in color and texture.
Hello, I’m Jaymi, I am an artist and curator from Mount Ephraim, New Jersey currently residing in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. I currently attend Pennsylvania College of Art & Design where I am the Chair of the student gallery, CORE Gallery, and am an Assistant of the Main Gallery.
As an artist I strive to make art that can be enjoyed by all different types of people. I focus on creating interactive or textural art using color and texture in my work and enjoy working with symbolism. I often explore themes of memory, mental health, self identity, and more!
As a curator I work to make space for all artist. When organizing exhibitions I make a point to include work by artists of all different backgrounds and mediums. I hope to continue to create a safe space for all artists to exhibit their work.
I am currently going to PCA&D for a Bachelors in Fine Art and minoring in Art History. I will graduate in May 2022 after earning my BFA, I plan to attend a Masters program for Curatorial Practices.
